Dr Allan Young is a shoulder surgeon with a special interest in shoulder replacement, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and shoulder reconstruction. With both Masters and PhD qualifications and numerous scientific publications, Dr Young combines clinical knowledge and experience with scientific evidence to provide the best advice and management possible as a shoulder surgeon to patients from Sydney and regional areas.

Dr Young is now also consulting in the Eastern Suburbs at The Stadium Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Centre and in Dubbo, regional NSW.

Dr Benjamin Cass is a shoulder and elbow surgeon. He specialises in shoulder reconstruction and replacement for tendon or labral tears, instability or arthritis via arthroscopic and when needed open surgery.

Dr Cass also specialises in reconstructive procedures for the elbow including ligament reconstruction, arthroscopy, releases and replacement.

David Sonnabend is Professor Emeritus at the University of Sydney, where he was Professor of Orthopaedic and Traumatic Surgery from 2001 until 2016. He has an honours degree in biochemistry and graduated in Medicine in 1972. His clinical interests relate to shoulder surgery and arthritis, and he has published over 70 peer-reviewed scientific papers and 18 book chapters in this field. His doctoral thesis was on the pathology, repair and comparative anatomy of the rotator cuff.
